Copy the code below into any page that accepts HTML — a website, a blog, an LMS, a school page, a stream overlay. It's free, there's nothing to install, and it stays in step with the options above. Embed any clock, stopwatch or timer.

Each ring is a progress bar bent into a circle: the outer one for the hour, the middle one for the minute, the inner one for the second. At a glance you see how far through the hour you are, which is often more useful than the exact time.

In countdown mode the outer ring shows how much of your total time has passed, so you can see progress through a long timer while the inner rings show minutes and seconds. In stopwatch mode the rings track the hour, minute and second of the elapsed time.

Where it's useful

  • A glanceable progress clock for work sessions
  • A countdown that shows how far through you are
  • A modern full-screen clock for a dashboard
  • A colourful stopwatch for fitness videos

Three ways to use it

  • Clock — the time of day in your time zone or any city, in 12- or 24-hour form.
  • Stopwatch — counts up with laps; press Lap while it runs.
  • Countdown — counts down from any time you set, sounds at zero, then counts overtime.

Every face runs entirely in your browser, remembers your settings on this device, and can be embedded on your own page.

Questions

What do the rings mean?

Outer: the hour (or total progress in a countdown). Middle: the minute. Inner: the second.

Can I change the colours?

Yes. The accent sets the first ring and the other two shift hue from it.

Is the time also shown as digits?

Yes, in the middle, so you can read it exactly.
