How to use the world clock
- Add a city from the list; up to sixteen at a time. Remove one with the ✕.
- Choose a face — a calm analog dial, a flip clock, glowing digits — and every city uses it. Turn on 12-hour for AM and PM.
- Each card shows the weekday and date there, whether it's day or night, and how many hours ahead of or behind you that city is.
- Time travel moves every clock forward or back by up to 24 hours in 15-minute steps. It's the quickest way to find a time that works for a call: slide until your own city reads 9:00, and see what the others say.
- Copy link saves your cities and face into the web address, so you can bookmark the setup or share it. You can also embed the world clock on your own page.
Why time zones are harder than they look
The world is divided into time zones that are usually whole hours from Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), but not always: India is UTC+5:30, Nepal is UTC+5:45, and parts of Australia use half-hour offsets. Many places also shift their clocks by an hour for daylight saving time, on dates that differ from country to country — so the gap between two cities can change during the year.
This clock doesn't do that arithmetic itself. It asks your browser's built-in time-zone database for each city's local time, which includes the daylight-saving rules for that zone, so the result follows the rules as your device knows them. Time-zone rules do get changed by governments from time to time, so keep your device and browser up to date.

Questions
How do I find the time in another city?
Add the city to the world clock. Each card shows that city's current local time, the date and weekday there, and how far ahead of or behind you it is.
How do I plan a meeting across time zones?
Add everyone's cities, then drag the time-travel slider until your own city shows the time you're considering. The other cards show what the time will be for each person.
Does it handle daylight saving time?
Yes. Each time comes from your browser's time-zone database, which includes daylight saving changes for every zone, so the differences update on the right dates.
Can I save my cities?
They're remembered on this device, and Copy link puts the whole setup into the address so you can bookmark or share it.
Is the time accurate?
It's as accurate as your device's clock. Use the time check to see how far yours is from network time.
