Neon signs bend glass tubing into shapes and fill it with gas that glows when electrified. On this face each segment is a tube: a bright, nearly white core with a coloured halo when lit, and a dark unlit tube when off, just as you see on a sign that is only partly switched on.
It is the loudest clock in the set, and it is meant to be. It makes a strong full-screen backdrop for a bar, a stream, a party or any page with a nightlife look — and since it is also a stopwatch and a countdown, it can run a countdown to the doors opening.
Where it's useful
- A backdrop clock for a stream, a bar or a party page
- A countdown for an event or launch with a neon look
- A bold stopwatch for a game show
- A colourful night-time desk clock
Three ways to use it
- Clock — the time of day in your time zone or any city, in 12- or 24-hour form.
- Stopwatch — counts up with laps; press Lap while it runs.
- Countdown — counts down from any time you set, sounds at zero, then counts overtime.

Questions
Can I make it blue, green or yellow?
Yes. Choose an accent colour and both the tube and its glow change.
Does it flicker?
No. The glow is steady so the time stays easy to read.
Can I put it on a transparent background?
In an embed you can turn off the panel and use a transparent or coloured background.
